On the new website, we would like to highlight users that work with life cycle assessments. We want to promote good examples of companies and organisations that use the life cycle perspective to create improvements. During 2020 SimaPro 9.1 was released, the latest version is SimaPro 9.1.1, which contains updates of the databases ecoinvent 3.6, Industry Data 2.0 and ELCD. We saw that the interest in environmental issues and the life cycle perspective kept increasing during 2020. The requests for measurability through LCAs and EPDs were outstanding, leading to that we now want to hire a new Miljögiraff during 2020. Annie started working at Miljögiraff in May and is primarily working with LCA and the contact with you SimaPro customers. Some of you may already have been in contact with her.
Miljögiraff keeps expanding and is now primarily looking for an employee for our office in Kalmar, but a new colleague in Gothenburg is also relevant. The skills that are in demand are experienced consultants in life cycle analysis who are interested in being involved in developing Miljögiraff.
